The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Lyda Hill Department of Bioinformatics invites applications at the level of Assistant Professor. Research in the department spans all levels of modern molecular and cellular biology from molecules to model organisms. As a member of our faculty you will have unparalleled access to state-of-the-art core facilities and infrastructure.
The responsibilities include but not limited to: 1) design and carry out in vivo experiments to investigate the immunotherapy targets predicted from bioinformatics approaches and from literature; 2) design and produce fusion- protein bi-specific antibodies targeting multiple cell surface proteins for maximized therapeutic effects; 3) design and perform novel high-throughput screening platforms to profile antigen-specific cytotoxic or regulatory T cells; 4) mentor and supervise junior lab members to perform immunology experiments; 5) independently write manuscript and publish the research data; 6) apply for extramural...
