All tender candidates must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labor Act ("Official Gazette" no. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23). Candidates of the competition under point 1., apart from the general conditions established by the Labor Act ("Official Gazette" no. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, and 64/23), must also fulfill the conditions prescribed by Article 39, paragraph 6 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity ("Narodne novine" No. 119/22), Article 123, paragraph 4 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, i.e. the conditions prescribed by Article 41 of the Ordinance on the implementation of the selection/re-election procedure for titles and corresponding positions at the Josip Jurj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the clarified text, which was published on the website of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek (https:// www. unios.hr/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Pravilnik-o-provedbi- postupka-izbora-reizbora-u-zvanja-i-na-odgovarajuća-radna-mjesta-Sveučilišta- Josipa-Jurja-Strossmayera-u-Osijeku-pročišćeni-tekst.pdf).

Candidates of the competition under point 1 for the selection to the scientific-teaching position of assistant professor in addition to the general conditions from the Labor Act ("Official Gazette" No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64 /23.) are also required to fulfill the special conditions prescribed in Article 39, paragraph 6 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity ("Official Gazette" No. 119/22) and the Conditions established by the Decision of the Rectors' Board on the necessary conditions for the evaluation of teaching and scientific -professional activities in the selection process for scientific and teaching professions ("Narodne novine" no. 122/17 and 120/21) and Article 123, paragraph 1 and Article 200 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek.

Specific Requirements

People of both sexes can apply for the competition under equal conditions. Only a person who meets the formal conditions of the competition and who has submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition. A complete application is considered to be an application that contains all the information and attachments listed in the tender and that is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. All candidates submit documentation in two (2) copies. All tender candidates who meet the formal conditions of the tender and who have attached binding documentation to the tender application signed by hand must take part in the written test and/or interview. Candidates will be informed about the content and method of the written test and/or interview, the place and time of the written test and/or interview via the website of the Department of Physics https: // www. fizika.unios.hr/.

Candidates who do not take the written test and/or the interview will be considered to have withdrawn their application for the competition and will not be considered candidates for the competition. For candidates who are foreign nationals, it is necessary to attach proof of knowledge of the Croatian or English language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(minimum at B2 level). Candidates who, on the basis of special regulations - the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and their Family Members ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21), Art. 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette" No. 84/21), Art. 48. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/ 94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Art. 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20), call for the right to priority in employment, are mandatory in the application to invoke that right at the tender and attach all the evidence that special regulations prescribe for the exercise of that right. The above-mentioned candidates have an advantage in employment compared to other applicants, only under equal conditions. For candidates who, in their application to the competition, refer to the right of priority in employment according to the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and their Family Members ("Narodne novine" No. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21) and the Act on civilian victims of the Homeland War ("Narodne novine" No. 84/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available on the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans https: // branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843

Candidates who refer to the right of priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) in the application to the competition, they are obliged to invoke this right and to attach all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.
