The competition is open to the candidates who:

meet the requirements specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended),

have a level of competence in Polish and English languages sufficient for conducting classes,

have at least a doctoral degree in humanities in the discipline of philosophy,

have significant scientific achievements or completed at least one-year of domestic or foreign scientific internship (the basis for applying for the position of Assistant Professor cannot be scientific achievements submitted for the award of a doctoral degree),

have documented teaching and organizational achievements and documented improvement of professional competences,

have university teaching experience of not less than 5 years,

Specific Requirements

scientific interests in the area of social philosophy and ethics, esp. professional ethics,

the ability to conduct classes using distance teaching methods and techniques.

The candidates should submit the following documents:

application,

cover letter,

the course of previous employment (including information on scientific, didactic and organizational achievements),

personal data form for the person applying for employment containing information, referred to in art. 221 § 1 of the Act of June 26, 1974. Labour Code (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2018, item 917, as amended) (form available for download on the University's website in the employees tab),

copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications,

copies of other documents confirming that the candidate meets the requirements set out in section I.,

a statement by the candidate stating that in case when the candidate takes up employment, University of Lomza shall be the primary place of employment (form available for download on the University's website in the employees tab ),

a statement of consent to the processing of personal data contained in the cover letter, CV or other attached documents - if these data contain specific types of data referred to in Article 9 par. 1 of GDPR, or if these data are different than those included in the personal questionnaire and are made available on the person's applying for employment own initiative. (Article 221a §1 and §3 and Article 221b §1 of the Labour Code),

in case of willingness to participate in subsequent recruitments conducted by University of Lomza, please submit a statement of consent for the processing of personal data in order to use these data in subsequent recruitments to be conducted by University of Lomza for a period of 12 months from the end of the current recruitment process.
