One employee to the first type of collaborative position of an assistant in the scientific field of Natural Sciences, and scientific field of Physics, for a certain period of time with full-time work at the Department of Physics University J. J. Strossmayer of Osijek.

The candidates of the competition for the selection to the associate position of assistant, are obliged to attach documentation according to Form No. 4. (https:// www. unios.hr/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/obrazac-04.pdf) , which was published on the website of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek www. unios.hr. Candidates of the competition must fulfill the mandatory requirement: completed university graduate studies in the scientific field of natural sciences, scientific field of physics. Candidates will be additionally evaluated for motivation to work, recognitions, awards, etc. Candidates for the competition must submit: 1. curriculum vitae; 2. the original or a certified copy of the diploma on completion of the corresponding university graduate study (a certified copy of the diploma can be certified by a notary public or by the institution that issued the diploma); 3. electronic record of HZMO insurance data (e-work book), not older than the date of publication of this tender; 4. copies of evidence of past recognitions, awards, etc. (if applicable).

Specific Requirements

People of both sexes can apply for the competition under equal conditions. Only a person who meets the formal conditions of the competition and who has submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition. A complete application is considered to be an application that contains all the information and attachments listed in the tender and that is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. All candidates submit documentation in two (2) copies. All tender candidates who meet the formal conditions of the tender and who have attached binding documentation to the tender application signed by hand must take part in the written test and/or interview. Candidates will be informed about the content and method of the written test and/or interview, the place and time of the written test and/or interview via the website of the Department of Physics https: // www. fizika.unios.hr/.

Selection process

Candidates who do not take the written test and/or the interview will be considered to have withdrawn their application for the competition and will not be considered candidates for the competition. For candidates who are foreign nationals, it is necessary to attach proof of knowledge of the Croatian or English language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(minimum at B2 level). Candidates who, on the basis of special regulations - the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and their Family Members ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21), Art. 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette" No. 84/21), Art. 48. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/ 94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Art. 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20), call for the right to priority in employment, are mandatory in the application to invoke that right at the tender and attach all the evidence that special regulations prescribe for the exercise of that right. The above-mentioned candidates have an advantage in employment compared to other applicants, only under equal conditions. Candidates who refer to the right of priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) in the application to the competition, they are obliged to invoke this right and to attach all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.
