The College of Education at Troy University is seeking candidates for a full- time Assistant/Associate Professor tenure-track position in the graduate level Adult Education Program. This position will be housed in the Leadership Development and Professional Studies Department. Responsibilities include teaching and advising graduate students; engagement in scholarly activities; commitment of service to the University, college, department and community while maintaining research, developing partnerships and collaborating with community colleges, military, and business industry; maintaining open communication with partners, faculty, staff and administration and other duties and responsibilities as identified by the departmental leadership team.
In Class Teaching Percentage Online Teaching Percentage Minimum Qualifications
1. Earned doctorate or terminal degree in Adult Education, Workforce Education, or a related field from a regionally accredited university. 2. Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, initiative and the ability to excel in a student-centered environment 3. Demonstrate a commitment of excellence to online learning
Preferred Qualifications
1. Demonstrate a track record of establishing and maintaining partnerships
2. Research agenda of publications and presentations in field
3. Strong evidence of higher education experience
