  • A&P TAs help students learn the basics for HumanAnatomy and Physiology, both during labs and/or during review sessions.
  • Some of the qualities we look for in a TA is feeling confident in the material, workingindependently, solid work ethic, willingness to be flexible as needed, andbeing detail oriented, both for anatomy & physiology lab.
  • Keeping the anatomy classroom, anatomy lab, & physiology lab clean is also a must, which requires the aforementioned qualities.
  • Attendance for a biweekly review session on the topic we will be covering isalso expected. These typically have been scheduled for up to one hour whena new lab topic begins during the semester.
  • Job Duties

  • Effectively communicate & problem solve with students for variousconcepts in anatomy & physiology
  • Ability to lift donor bodies (if TAing for anatomy)
  • Organize & clean classroom & lab spaces
  • Encourage effective learning strategies for students
  • Required Qualifications

  • Must be a current CSS student.
  • Two full semesters of Anatomy and Physiology (I and II)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference is given to students that qualify for federal student employment.
