  • About the Role

    The Alumni Business Partner will be responsible for leading and implementing the College of Business and Law's alumni engagement strategy and developing and activating a programme of experiences that enhance and grow the business and law alumni community. Working at College level and closely with Schools and Departments, the Alumni Business Partner is responsible for aligning the College alumni engagement strategy with the broader University strategy. The role will build and nurture mutually beneficial relationships that deliver valuable outcomes for the global alumni community and the College.

    About You

    In this brand new role, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with the College's alumni community, both nationally and internationally.

    With a community of over half a million, you will oversee the development of the College's alumni strategy and drive strategic alumni initiatives and communications.

    To be successful in this position, you'll have (in line with the position description):

  • Significant professional experience in an engagement and relationship management role, ideally within the Education sector.

  • Experience establishing and growing partnerships and delivering successful engagement outcomes.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, and to work collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, shape, design and deliver innovative engagement solutions.

  • Evidence of contributing to strategic planning and delivery.

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of clients using CRM systems.

  • Demonstrated high-level digital and computer skills.

    About the College of Business and Law

    As one of the largest Business Schools in the Asia Pacific region, the College is comprised of five schools – four in Melbourne and one in Vietnam – and delivers a broad range of programs in Business and Law, ranging from Degree to PHD levels.

    The College's Business and Law programs are delivered in Melbourne as well as through RMIT Online, with its Business programs also available in Vietnam and through partner institutions in Singapore and Shanghai. The College employs over 1000 staff and delivers programs to over 26,000 students.

    The College's central operations are located at RMIT University's City Campus in Melbourne and reside in the Swanston Academic and Emily McPherson buildings.
