Lecturer £39,347 rising to £42,978 (pro rata); Senior Lecturer: £45,585 rising to £56,021 (pro rata) Part Time, Permanent - Academic

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our CPD programme academic team. We are particularly looking for applications from AHPs, but other applications are equally considered. This is a part time role of 0.5 FTE.

Overall purpose of post :

To deliver higher education in the areas of Advanced, Enhanced and Specialist Practice. To undertake academic and academic-related responsibilities, including module leadership to postgraduate students. Delivering teaching and learning activities and assessments, and supervising dissertations.

Qualifications required :

For the Lecturer post: Registered health care professional (HCPC / NMC); MSc in Advanced/Enhanced/Specialist Practice (or equivalent), or working towards.

For the Senior Lecturer post: Registered health care professional (HCPC / NMC); MSc in Advanced/Enhanced/Specialist Practice (or equivalent); Teaching qualification.

Experience required for post :

For the Lecturer post: Experience of delivering education in healthcare, Recent experience working in Advanced/Enhanced/Specialist clinical practice

For the Senior Lecturer post: Teaching experience of delivering PG healthcare education in a higher education institution; Recent experience working in Advanced/Enhanced/Specialist clinical practice; Experience of curriculum design and development.

All halls are on a BROOKESbus route and students living in halls can purchase a discounted bus pass entitling them to free travel on these services.
