The University of Bath's department of Planning, Performance and Strategic Change (PPSC) has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team on a fixed-term basis (6 months). We are an inclusive, passionate, and energetic team with experience in a range of sectors.

You will have the chance to play an important role in enabling the University to embed strategic change, driven by its ambitious 2021-2026 Strategy.

About the role:

The Department of Planning, Performance and Strategic Change combines strategic and business planning, informed by analysis and insight, together with the end-to-end monitoring of progress towards our long-term objectives and delivery of strategic projects.

The department comprises three teams: Strategy & Planning, Business Analytics & Insights, and the Strategic Projects Office.

As an Administrator within PPSC you will provide a vital role supporting the work of the department.

You will assist the PPSC in developing and supporting methods and processes, providing a first point of contact for the team and providing a range of administrative support to the management team. The role will also offer specific PA support for the Director.

To succeed in the role you will have:

  • Significant proven experience in an administrative support role, with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and develop good working relationships with a range of colleagues, including at senior level
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible and to learn new skills quickly

    In 2015, the university inaugurated a specialized area for arts, education, and events. The University of Bath has a well-built infrastructure with all the essential facilities and amenities a student will require. The university gives equal focus on sports and offers one of the best sports facilities in the UK. The university-based athletes won six medals in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

    Almost one-fourth of the students enrolled are from outside the UK, so, the university offers a perfect internationally diverse experience. Airbus, World Bank, Nike, Ford, and Rolls Royce are some of the industry leaders, which collaborate with the university.
