This adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departments' access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s). To learn more about the school and department:

St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors who qualify to teach in the College of Liberal Arts – Department of Philosophy.

Required Qualifications

  • ABD or doctoral work in a graduate philosophy program with an earned Master's degree considered
  • Evidence of teaching excellence is encouraged, such as sample syllabi, student evaluations, and/or letters of recommendation
  • Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in philosophy preferred

    Founded in 1869, St. Cloud State is an award-winning regional public university and proud member of the Minnesota State Universities & Colleges system. The 100-acre campus is about an hour northwest of Minneapolis and St. Paul, along the oak-crowned west bank of the Mississippi River.
