This adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departments' access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s). To learn more about the school and department:

St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors who qualify to teach in the College of Liberal Arts – Department of Philosophy.

Required Qualifications

ABD or doctoral work in a graduate philosophy program with an earned Master's degree considered

Evidence of teaching excellence is encouraged, such as sample syllabi, student evaluations, and/or letters of recommendation

Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in philosophy preferred

Founded in 1869, St. Cloud State is an award-winning regional public university and proud member of the Minnesota State Universities & Colleges system. The 100-acre campus is about an hour northwest of Minneapolis and St. Paul, along the oak-crowned west bank of the Mississippi River.
