Financial Operations manages the day-to-day financial transactions of the University and supports budget holders across the institution to maintain financial control.
Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, the Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager will be responsible for the operational activities of the AR function. This includes managing the AR team and all the tasks required to deliver a high-quality AR service to all stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity to lead a dynamic team and be part of the wider finance team supporting the University, with opportunities to develop finance leadership and team management skills.
The AR Manager will manage the entire process of collecting payments from customers ensuring that the front facing teams (Credit Control and Cashiering) provide an efficient response to queries received from all stakeholders including students, conference delegates and other stakeholders of the service provided by the teams who contribute to the AR function.
The main responsibilities of the role include the management and development of the AR team members, daily management of income streams, reconciliations of ledgers across the University and ownership of KPI's and management reporting to monitor and control team performance.
Experience in management of financial accounts, cash management and credit control is essential along with strong and advanced Excel capabilities and the ability to inspire and lead a team.Further details: Job Details University Information
