The Job

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who has a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting system processes, and effective problem-solving skills. This roll requires exceptional time management, analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proficiency in Excel and a focus on attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the procure to pay processes
  • Accurately process timely payment of all incoming invoices with Stampli and NetSuite
  • Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and correct documentation, and apply accurate GL coding before processing payments
  • Oversee the invoice approval routing process via Stampli
  • Manage the company expense report process via Expensify, including payment information submittal to payroll, and recording of the relevant transactions into NetSuite
  • Manage the company corporate credit card process via Expensify including recording relevant transactions into NetSuite on a bi-weekly basis
  • Manage the company purchase order process via NetSuite
  • Prepare weekly check runs; initiate payments via ACH, wire and credit card
  • Manage AP alias and provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from vendors and internal customers
  • Research and resolve invoice issues and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and up to date files for all invoices
  • Maintain the vendor master file, including tax ID numbers of applicable vendors
  • Ensure compliance with federal 1099 reporting regulations
  • Assist with month-end close, including posting journal entries and preparation of account reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc projects and analysis as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management, analytical and critical thinking, and problem- solving skills
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and organized
  • Performs well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines

    If Core Scientific determines through a factory audit or otherwise that a Supplier is not meeting the requirements and expectations set forth in these Standards, Core Scientific shall offer guidance with respect to matters requiring correction or that need improvement. Core Scientific reserves the right, however, to cancel outstanding orders, suspend future orders or terminate its relationship with the Supplier, as circumstances demand.
