
About the Role For this exciting role, the successful incumbent will have exceptional communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both clients and internal stakeholders. Furthermore, a background in project management, the ability to think critically and a strong business acumen will be highly regarded for the position.
The Academic Product Governance Manager role is part of the Education & Quality Services unit. This role is responsible for the implementation, management and monitoring of the Academic Product Governance framework and lifecycle activities. This role will be required to effectively support the delivery and execution of product roadmaps that support the Education Strategy and provide strategic advice to Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education and Quality), the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer (SDVC) on product initiatives.

About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
• Strong operational skills with demonstrated ability to develop high-quality artefacts (e.g. templates, user guides, process maps). • Strong business acumen with proven ability to analyse quantitative data to make sound operational recommendations. • Minimum three years' experience in planning and/or university business operations at a manager level. • Proven ability to manage and track activities and decisions to feed into a robust governance framework. • Strong project management and organisation skills. • Good problem solving skills and the initiative to present findings for consideration.
Qualifications • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
