The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an accomplished academic molecular pathologist with expertise in molecular pathology. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The applicant must have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO, be certified by the American Board of Pathology or a cooperating society, and have or be eligible for a Texas medical license. Successful candidate will develop, optimize and validate assays, and have experience in the creation of clinical reporting, data storage, bioinformatics in a NGS CLIA laboratory. Furthermore, excellent communication skills and scientific oversight experience are highly desirable.
