Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: The position does not require an employee to be onsite full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility, or off-site as frequently as needed or desired

Be part of our fast-paced, agile teams that build software and innovative solutions in the ADAS and Autonomous domain for controls, mapping and diagnostics systems; working with teams to develop, implement, test, and debug Automated Driving software systems. You will work with a diverse team of developers and engineers to create software that empowers automated solutions like Cadillac's Super Cruise.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop core software for Embedded Controllers and backend development
Support core algorithms and software for automated driving
Conduct testing of software (simulation, bench, and in-vehicle)
Investigate & support continuous improvement activities associated with production programs
Required Qualifications:
Pursuit of a Bachelor's (3rd and 4th year students but will consider qualified 2nd year students with EcoCAR, or SAE project experience ) or Master's (Preferred) degree in one of the following areas: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada, and for 8 or 12-month term (2-3 consecutive semesters) starting January 2024
Beginner to intermediate knowledge on C++
Experience with Object Oriented design principles
Basic experience with embedded software, or PLC
Experience with CI/CD systems, software automation
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
Highly adaptable and able to work independently and in a team environment
