Location : Palo Alto, CA
The Roles:
BrightDrop Analytics
Interns will be responsible for developing and maintaining BrightDrop's Azure Analytics platform, including the cloud infrastructure software. They will be expected to learn and use sound, repeatable, industry best practices and following data analytics methodologies as they are coached by more senior developers. The interns will work hands-on developing or enhancing KPIs to help BrightDrop measure progress towards its OKRs. The role includes performing data integration, building reports, performing “WhatIf” analysis or solutions based on detailed requirements and specifications and assisting with troubleshooting and fixing bugs. Development activities may include updating existing integrations, data objects, developing reports, or developing new software solutions to address a specific business problem. patterns/frameworks.
We are looking for interns that are curious, smart, work well in a team environment and are excited to help us move our products forward and drive changes and improvements to the ways customers approach the way they do business.

Required Qualifications (both roles):
Preferred Technical Skills - BrightDrop Analytics:
Strong Computer Science fundamentals
Experience with at least one of the public cloud Analytics solutions: Azure, Databricks, Snowflake
Relational DBs, like Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle
NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, Bigtable, HBase, Cassandra
Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, CloudFormation
Prior internship in software or analytics development
Preferred Technical Skills - IT Integration Technologies:
