ABB's Electrification organization is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and generating profitable growth for the Electrification Business Area. Our 10,000 strong commercial team represents the portfolio of all Electrification Business Area Divisions in over 100 countries. The role reports to the Director-Early Talents, University Relations & Employee Branding. Two-year rotational program Each participant will complete three, separate HR related rotations supporting the Electrification Distribution Solutions America's (ELDS) business Potential rotation assignments could include: 6-month assignment adjacent to the HRBP in a smaller ELDS facility 6-month assignment in talent acquisition, HR investigations or HR corporate projects to supplement factory experience 12-month assignment in HR support role at the largest ELDS facility to learn from HR leaders Rotation assignments meant to develop technical, project, program and people skills Attend July orientation to collaborate with other Discovery Program participants Opportunity to visit other ELDS facilities in the US and Mexico Global programming designed for early talent training, personal and professional growth, networking, and social activities Dedicated program manager to coach you throughout your journey

Your responsibilities
  • Learn about themselves and ABB's dynamic global business
  • Engage with ABB leaders including rotation managers and mentors who will help them develop their technical and leadership skills
  • Aspire to achieve their career goals at ABB by participating in professional development opportunities including, but not limited to, HR training, certificates, webinars and immersions
  • Deliver on business results by completing challenging and meaningful assignments in a supportive environment
  • Your background
  • Currently enrolled in a MBA, Masters or Bachelor's degree program with focus in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Psychology or similar field and graduating between December 2023 and June 2024
  • Graduate level preferred, but Bachelor's will be considered
  • Preferred relevant past internships or co-ops
  • Excited to explore living/working in different parts of the US, relocating for each rotation is possible. Relocation assistance is provided
  • Desire to learn and grow from a diverse set of experiences and people
  • A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • At time of accepting verbal offer candidate must have valid US work authorization and must not require sponsorship for an employment visa by ABB at any time in the future
