one (1) teacher (M/F) to the associate employment position of Assistant , for the scientific area of Natural Sciences, scientific field of Physics, at the Department of Technology, UNISB (temporary position, full time).

In addition to the general conditions as stipulated in the Labour Act (Official Gazette no. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23), the candidates for the position must meet the conditions as stipulated in the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act (Official Gazette 119/22), the Statute of University of Slavonski Brod, and the Ordinance on the Election/Reelection to Titles and Corresponding Employment Positions of University of Slavonski Brod. The Statute and the Ordinance are posted to the website of University of Slavonski Brod (www. unisb.hr).

The candidates for the position (Ad. 1.) shall apply to the Open Call while mandatorily providing the documents pursuant to Form 2: Application to the Open Call for election to the scientific-educational employment position of Assistant Professor – Prijava na natječaj za izbor na znanstveno-nastavno radno mjesto docent.

The candidates for the position (Ad. 3.) shall apply to the Open Call while mandatorily providing the documents pursuant to Form 4: Application to the Open Call for election to the associate employment position of Assistant - Prijava na natječaj za izbor na suradničko radno mjesto asistenta.

All candidates (Ad. 2.) who meet the formal requirements of the Open Call shall be subjected to obligatory testing / interview. The candidates will be informed about the place and date of the interview via e-mail. Candidates who do not attend the interview will be considered to have withdrawn their application.

The forms are posted to the website of University of Slavonski Brod (www. unisb.hr).

A person who has not submitted a timely and orderly application or who does not meet the formal requirements of the Open Call is not considered a candidate registered for the Open Call. An application that contains all information and enclosures in the manner specified in the Open Call is considered a proper application.

In the application for the Open Call, candidates are required to indicate which position they are applying for. If applying for several positions, it is necessary to submit for each position an application, resume and required documentation indicating the employment position.

The Open Call candidates (Ad. 1. and Ad. 2.) of foreign nationality are required to provide a proof of the Croatian language proficiency pursuant to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (C2 level). If chosen, the candidates of foreign nationality must obtain a certified translation of foreign higher education qualification.

The individuals of either gender may apply for the job opening under the same conditions. Late or incomplete applications shall not be taken into consideration.

The Open Call candidates who exercise the right to benefit under a special law are obliged to invoke the right to apply for and to enclose evidence of such status, as well as the certificate issued by the Croatian Employment Service of being unemployed, not older than the date of publication of this Open Call, as proof of the manner in which the employment relationship with the last employer was terminated. These candidates have an advantage over the other candidates only under the same conditions. By virtue of the Open Call application, the candidates express their full consent that University of Slavonski Brod, may collect, utilize, and further process the data, with a purpose of the Open Call procedure implementation, pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act.

The candidates must obligatorily enclose the signed Consent form (with No. of Open Call and detailed Ad.), which is available at www. unisb.hr. If the named Consent is not part of the application, their application will be considered incomplete.

All candidates will be notified of the results of the Open Call within the legal deadline by e-mail to the e-mail address specified in the application.
